Visual and NDT Inspection

What and how do we inspect?

We use various method of inspection from a full internal and external visual to NDT.  Visual inspections can be performed on all buildings, pipework, vessels or structural steelwork to find any areas of potential concern. 

All our inspectors are qualified to API510 and API 570. This allows us to carry out inspections on inservice vessels or pipework within the energy industry. In addition we can use NDT methods to test the materials for signs of manufacturing defects and inservice indications. 

What is NDT Inspection?

Non Destructive Testing (NDT) is a method to test a materials properties in-service without leaving any damage or deformation. Along with visual inspections the following NDT methods are crucial to the running of many industries from Oil and Gas, Nuclear and Aerospace.

• Dye Penetrant Testing
• Radiography

Why use NDT Inspection? 

NDT inspections can be completed when equipment is in-service. This limits the down time caused by removing any equipment for destructive testing. By using a combination of the techniques above it is possible to detect many inservice defects that may hinder the operation .

Can anyone do NDT Inspection?

At Infinity Access Services we only use BiNDT (PCN / ASNT) qualified personnel to complete NDT work. This way we can ensure that our clients can achieve their goals, ensure efficiency and keeps cost down.
